GLOCK-17

Gaston Glock founded the Glock Company in Austria in 1962 to manufacture metal and plastic products. In 1982 it won a contract to make pistols for the Austrian army, and it has expanded that business to include a line of over twenty different models.

The Glock 17 is a full size, semi-automatic pistol with a magazine holding seventeen rounds. With an additional round in the chamber, the shooter has eighteen rounds available.

The Glock is a favorite of police agencies all over the world. It has a unique safety which is embedded in the trigger.

In The Templar Concordat, the Glock replaces the Smith & Wesson Callahan lost in the bombing.
